As a graduate assistant in the East Tennessee State University (ETSU) MFA program I have been working as a producer for games and simulations as part of an ongoing collaboration between ETSU and the East Tennessee Children's Hospital. This project is a virtual reality simulation for tracheostomy care and maintenance. Our goal with this project is to reinforce clinical nurses and their knowledge of what to do in the situations at hand regarding a child with a trach. The project is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 and is utilizing the new capabilities of its new lighting engine.
Attached is an image of the entire development team at the bottom of the post.
